Tim is a great musician and a very approachable bloke too.I am a bit disappointed that I am not going to be able to get to LGS this year now that I have far more experience of BKPs than I did last year when I had just one set.

i met tim years ago at Music Live in Birmingham but didn't buy a set of BKP's until a few years afterwards but I remember playing a few of his les pauls and thinking they were absolutely outstanding.

I tried a cornford and a few music man JPM's out that year, and a crate blue voodoo which to me sounded like a bad 5150.. ooh and I went to the ENGL booth coz i was playing engl gear and tried the Savage 120 and Powerball..

Really looking forward to the new Iced Earth stuff, does anyone know if Tim will be doing any solos?

Tim is doing all the solos. (Schaffer does not do solos)

I thought that would be the case, sounds like its going to be awsome :-)

That day must of been a treat for Phil's neighbors too, I can picture them lining up at the door trying to pay admission to come in.

I must have been a great day to be sure. Hails to Tim.

It's Iced Earth. If you like IE albums of the past, you will like this one. If not, aside from the solos, there's not going to be much different. I know Tim brought some riffs to the table, but I don't know if they were changed much after they went through the Schaffer Triplet Machine.

Just wanted to say thanks to Ben and Phil for a great day in NY. A fantastic  chance to chill and be with friends especially after 3 extremely long days in the IE studio(11am to at least 2am the following day-every day!!).Phil's guitars are seriously great and I had a lot of fun trying out all sorts of things I'd never had the chance to play before-also Ben's Splawn(serious tone machine) and awesome Hiwatt cab. Thank you so much guys, looking forward to seeing you at LGS and maybe NY again if not before!
