BLS is in town next week and I've got my tickets. Zakk was scheduled to do an in-store appearance at one of the local music stores. The in-store was just cancelled. Good friend of mine got to read the rider today and it was page after page of BS. So many cases of beer, line moves this fast, this many vans for transportation, bodyguards, Zakk can leave at anytime without explanation....blah blah blah..... This went on for a few pages so the music store said forget it. And this is the big nationwide chain so they've got the cash, but it was too much cr@p for them to bother. Big deal? No. Jackass? Yes. :?

He's reaching the point where his "no-bullsh!t" persona is crossing the line into parody. Yeah, regular guy, pumps iron, drinks lots of beer (can he possibly drink as much as he says? He should be dead...). Now doesn't wash. Hell yeah. Yawn.

the real shitety part of the whole rider as it was told to me was No photo's or autographs unless you bought the new BLS from them.

i hope it goes well for him.
too bad its about the cash and not the fans.

he did a promo deal for epiphone at one of the local radio stations here in Huntsville,Al...(NOT a big market...) he hung out most of the day at the station and hit the town that night-I was surprised it went as well as it did,actually-we do not see cats like that around here too often
...must of been day 75 or so...

When The Wildhearts toured with Vai, Ginger and Devin Townsend had a competition to see which of them could go longest without washing.

Not sure who won, but later Ginger wrote a song called "You Smell Canadian" for the Supershite 666 side-project he did with Dregen from Backyard Babies. :lol:

you got to know, that the record company and management have some say in this too, and it's not all zakks' fault.
for example the signing stuff only if you bought the album, that reeks of the label interfering with the whole deal.
