Much better :D

yes i love that one.

My band were thinking of covering the song even though we hate it and singing those lyrics CLEARLY

because all the gigs that we have lined up are playing with gay ass emo bands

I think Trivium can sure as hell play. The singer can't sing though. Calling him a singer is already a compliment. But that long haired dood has some decent chops.

But it seems I heard all their songs before :s there's no originality. They're just another A7X, I bet most of their fans are under 15...No offence to under 15s. But often it's true (Good Charlotte anyone?)

everyone seems to be ripping A7X lately. I quite like Waking the Fallen!
There was some catchy stuff, really good playing, songs that really rocked. They don't really sound much like anyone else to me. In fact thinking about it there was some really good playing. Sure there might be a lot of bands that have a similar-ish sound to them around now, but they came after A7X were formed, which i believe was quite a while ago now at the end of the 90's.
My only real criticism is that their tone sucks a lil bit... They need to ditch the invaders and get them some Warpigs.
'Sevenfold are also pretty good live! I really liked their stage set and the lighting; and they all seemed very animated, and acted like people rather than that cool rockstar thing nowadays where they just stand there and look mean, and boring, and every now and then say something pointless and brainless and stock.
LOVING the Mules!

+1, i like both newer albums, but i love WTF (haha just realised that   )

it's a great album, melodic, evil/dark sounding in places...

oh yeah, and my little bro, who is very mainstream (Trivium, BFMV, A7X) doesn't like  trivium's The Crusade that much, and he's under 15.....

i like it, but some songs... i dunno... sound too generic? i can't pinpoint it that much.

and yes, they can play guitar very well, but it all seems to be mindless shred

I like Waking the Fallen quite a lot.

But City of Evil sounds HORRIBLE. Everything I hear off this album is just sub par poppunkmetalteenagemusic. I don't mind, people are free to listen to whatever they want and I'm no one to criticize. I just don't like it myself.

However I do quite like Bullet for my Valentine.

HA!!!!

oh yeah, and i don't think Bullet are good live ^_^

the tone is bad, most songs are quite emo-y EDIT: i actually like some though, like hand of blood (i'm not embarrassed) and All these thing is hate (now THATs embarrassing....)

and City of Evil has some good songs, but most are, as you would say pierre, "sub par poppunkmetalteenagemusic."

When I first heard Bat Country, I spent about 3 seconds searching for a melody/riff/reason to listen to the song. I still haven't found anything worth it. 3 seconds was about the best balance I could have achieved. Longer and it'd have been a waste of time.

oh, the first 3 seconds are just chaos, and it's supposed to be like that!!! after the first 5 seconds or so, the song starts. before that is just random jibberish then this phrase that ends in "...the pain of being a man...." then the song starts
