In the case of the Warpig the neck has a DC of 18K and an alnico V magnet.

For added comparison I think I rememeber it being mentioned that the Warpig neck was basically an A5 Miracle Man neck.

Hi there i play a Maverick X1 Electric Guitar with X1 Pickups and a Floyd Rose Floating tremelo system i use a Marshall 100HDFX Half stack amp too. Reason i wanna change these pickups is because im in a metal band and we require something that is hot, agressive and allows me to solo with beutiful tonage! I play rythm and some lead solos and im not sure what to pick. Im conviced about getting the Nailbomb but i wanted to get Warpig but from sound clips i heard it doest feel like it could punch out some awesum solos. Would a calibrated set of Nailbombs be good for what i want the sound clips impressed me so far sounds like it has full fat tones for solos and agressive beast no-nonsense style for metal rythm.

The Nailbomb has a more organic tone, much more open and it cleans up better. The Warpig is ideal for crushing metal riffs, it is comparable to an EMG out put wise but will sound allot less sterile and more "natural" it will be more bass heavy.
The other pickup to consider is the miracle man, which has a very tight bass response and a screaming lead tone.
The ceramic mag in the Miracle man will give you a tighter bass, but will not clean up so well. The Alnico V mag's in the warpig and Nailbomb give you a more versatile pickup with a more even frequency response.

Yeah its definately a warpig for the bridge, just got to ponder on which neck pickup the miracle or the nailbomb, both sounded awesome.

It would be a custom order, but you would probably get the best results from a Warpig set with a ceramic magnet in the bridge. My brother has one and he plays Death/black metal and grind core. It has a very tight bass response which makes it perfect for ultra heavy riffs, when the bass can sometimes get a bit too much. He plays in drop A on a 7 string and the bass still stays tight and not flabby.

Hmmm sounds like a plan so the bridge would be ceramic and the neck would be alnico? I wonder how much that would cost since I live in the US.

the exchange rate has gone down in your favour recently, it was $1.69 to £1 last time I checked. We ship to the states almost every day now so that wont be a problem.

apparantly At the gates used a marshall valvestate 8080 slammed with an sd-1 to get the blinded by fear tone... Sure i read it in an interview...

believe Chuck from  Death used the same amps?

I was going to get a Ran guitar, but went with www.legraguitars.co.uk
as they are in UK and seem really sound (and do some GOOD stuff on their website)... gonna be a BKP loaded shred machine!

Hails Steve.
let me ask you something.
In a Hypotetical Situation... how do you compare the MIDS on the nailbomb and miracle man?
i mean, for an example, in a scale of 1 to 5.
how much for the nailbomb bridge  and how much for the miracle man bridge?!
Hails
