I've heard every single-coil BKP clip ever recorded, and all I can say is this;

If pickups were drugs, BKP's would be the high-quality cocaine cut with some top-shelf heroin and a dash of extacy - everything you want and more... and an orgasm... but the Lace Sensors are just straight up coke. None of that erection-inspiring mojo. Just the pure stuff.

I get too wordy, it seems :( It will be a very verbal day indeed when the Nailbomb and MQ settle in to my Dot... :twisted:

Hahaha, that's a much better description of pickups than you get normally, bravo.

I luuuuuurve the Red/Silver/Blue trio in my 57 Reissue Jap Strat... it's as clean as the shower then as dirty as my boxers at the stomp of a button.

Absolutely not ever. I love that guitar so much.
It's the same model as Dave's a couple of pages back, a cheap lite ash, but it plays and sounds superb. They are still avaliable to buy new.

sorry mate, I wasn't really clear, the scratch plate is a replacement from all-parts I think. It's routed H-S-H from the factory so no other mods required.

Or do you mean it comes with 3 singles in... but the cavities are all H sized?

:D It comes as SSS from the factory but if you take off the pickguard it's routed out to take HSH. Hope that clear it up

I love my Strat but I ALWAYS said my ultimate Strat would be with a pair of humbuckers in!
