...do you guys use?

I'm been using orange tortex .6mm, as I like a bit of flexibility, but they seem to wear out quickly.

Any other recommendations?

i really like the dunlop jazz II's (or do I use the III's...?). I dunno. The small ones. They seem more comfortable for faster playing and alternate picking.

The big red dunlop jazz IIIs. trouble is, I like the point on them, but it wears out too fast and they only make the ultex ones in small.

I use the Dunlop Riffs, green for electric (.96mm) and orange or red for acoustic stuff.

Nylon i think, and pretty soft, the tortex stuff just wears out and is rubbish. Same for the Dunlop stuff with a crocodile on it, each pick lasted me about a week after I bought a packet of 10.

Jazz IIIs are good, but Jazz Stubbies ftw.

Buy them in packs of 25 on Thomann - They are too lovely.

why is it that everyone seems to use jazz IIIs, but they are so much harder to find than the tortex .73?

Ebay tortex

ebay jazz III

Especially the big ones... the XL series, which I like.
