Hi Ted,

They're not making any more.  They were a limited run for the UK that's long finished.  eBay is you best bet.

Amazingly enough, a local guitar shop. :o
I walked in looking at some acoustics, and I saw this with the electrics. It was too good an offer to turn down so i picked it up, played it, and loved it the second I did. It is a quilt though, i'll try and get some pictures up if you would like sambo. Apparently only 180 honeyburst quilt tops were made by signature, and i was amazed to see a signature in the guitar shop, especially after hearing about dakine's a long time ago, and how hard it is to get any information on them.

Hey Buddha - do you know how many Sigs were made in total?  Or the numbers of other colours/tops?

Dave, I saw a signature LP in Leeds Musicground for £499. It was a lemondrop/brown ish colour and the burst was very very subtle. Quite nice guitar but the neck seemed too skinny and the frets were tiny, like only 1.5-2mm off the fretboard. If the neck was a bit fatter and the frets bigger I might have bought it. What is the neck and frets on yours like?

Sounds similar to mine.  The neck is more 60s Gibson than 50s, and it's slick to play with low frets.

Was it a flame/quilt/plain top?  Much figuring?

It was a flame top and it had quite strong grains running in both directions. The neck profile was about the same width as my LP studio but a lot shallower and overall it felt very small. It's a very nice guitar but the neck might be a problem for some. Tokai necks are very fat and chunky and some may prefer them.
