The H20, well made heavy duty construction. Very musical sounds obtainable with just a bit of tweeking, then set and forget.

If size is every an issue, I really like the tiny Guyatone Delay.

Also you said not crazy about Boss, but to be true, the Combo Reverb Delay, the dark grey one, I think maybe it's called RV-X, where X is a number is the swiss army knife box for those with amps without reverb. When I use a non-reverb amp, I can dial in some reverb, when I play through my ampeg with the installed accutronics tank, I dial it in as my 3rd delay pedal. (OK so I like Echo, what's so wrong? LOL)

Another GREAT chorus that I use nearly all the time is from the Univibe guys, It's call the Dunlop Univbe Chorus. This stomper set slow and subtle is killer.

Bought me a DD3, killer! So no delays are needed. I'm interested in the MXR Chorus as was said earlier though!

Though it's not chorus, you can get a fairly convincing reverb effect with the DD-3 by setting the delay time at its minimum. I used it for a long time on just that setting.

tbh, I'm mainly using it for Nuno type leads and things, and filling out rhythm (as our rhythm guitarist is shite, and mimes alot).

What about fulltone effects? The chorus looks hot, but expensive.

Fulltone makes excellent effects, although I am only familar with their overdrives. For chorus I can highly recommend the Visual Sound H2O. Best chorus out there in my opinion. And with the exchange rate you are looking at getting it much cheaper than before. :)

The older ones you should be able to find on ebay for much cheaper now that they have revamped their line. The H2O is a chorus and echo. That is kind of Visual Sounds thing, they combine multi effects into one pedal.
For example the Jekyll and Hyde (overdrive and distortion) and Route 66 (overdrive and compression). With the new line they have created single stompboxes for some of those effects. So, since you already have a delay you could look at the new V2 chorus. It is basically the H2O without the delay. Check it out.

The Liquid Chorus looks very cool. The H2O, could I use the echo as reverb?

The H2O works well as a chorus, reverb, and delay. It's basically 3 pedals in one. You can tweak that thing a million different ways. Kick ass pedal!!

This looks like a route worth looking into then!

The kind of chorus I'm after is a warm, Iron Maiden - Somewhere In Time type chorus. Will is pull it off?

From my experience that pedal will pull off most anything. I used it to play Pink Floyd tunes in a cover band, blues, and lots of other stuff. It is very versatile. Check this out.

I just got my Jekyll & Hyde the other day and had a chance to test it out at practice. It did pretty good! The overdrive is great and I find myself using it all the time. The distortion side sounds good too but it's noisy like other people have said. Mine is the old one and the new Visual Sound line seems to be much better. They're built more solidly and with the Jekyll & Hyde they added a gate to stop all the noise. The old line is pretty solid as it is so you really can't go wrong and I got mine at a bargain so I'm happy!

It doesn't have to be. I use an adapter from my digitech whammy to power my boss pedals with no problems. Just make sure the polarity is the same and that the adapter as at least the same regulated current as the pedal as hamfist stated.
