Ken, Dexter Season 4 is the best so far (apart from S1 of course), 3 is really rubbish and I recommend skipping it tbh!

The ending of 4 is so good.

And Way of the Dragon (on Blu-Ray) this morning. It's got have been at least 15 years since I saw this. It was still fun to watch.

Is that an import?  I didn't realise it was available.

This afternoon I watched The Watchmaker Of St Paul.  I'm not a huge fan of Bertrand Tavernier, but I really like that particular film.

Not watched any films for a while as I've been watching TV series but definitely worth a look is 30 Rock and Entourage.

30 Rock is a daft bordering on surreal commedy and Entourage is just great for some drunken feel good sh!t.  Great music too.

I'd really gone off American shows but these 2 are classics!

N.B. I couldn't be arsed searching through 75 pages of this thread to see if anybody has been talking about 30 rock, but I did a search for "30 rock" and apparently Celestion Vintage 30's are quire good for Rock (When you crank them)....

D'oh... should have been Enter the Dragon

I've posted about Entourage and 30 Rock, both are in my all-time favourite TV shows list.

Just watched Porco Rosso. Enjoyable enough, but felt totally cheated by the complete non ending. If you're going to have an event/character story you can't leave the event unresolved

dexter season 3 is the one with freebo, right? ... god i HATED the A.D.A ... the man is such an annoying actor, that he ruined every movie, that he plays in for me..

dont want to watch the 4th season, cos it ends in an aparent cliffhanger, that is going to be resolved in the 5th season (so i've been told) ... and i dont take cliffhangers well... that is why i watched more than half of the 3rd season in one sitting.. and it wasnt filled with as much suspense as seasons 1 and and 2..

Just watched Max Manus (aka Max Manus - Man of War)

It's a Norwegian film about the exploits of a real-life WWII hero.  Like most bio-pics, it's not great as a film, because you always feel there's an awful lot being left out or glossed over.  Good stuff though, and the true story itself is fascinating.

In the middle of Season 2 of the Sarah Connor Chronicles. Not bad really - watching Summer Glau in (sometimes) hot outfits makes it easier!
I think I hate being indecisive.

took to long to find its feet though - and have they cancelled it now :(

gotta say, as cheesy as it is i am really liking legend of the seeker.... wife hates it though - and she is the one with good taste - - - married me didnt she ;)

its like a ever so slightly more tolerable xena - with hotter women and proper fight scenes and fx

I've watched a couple of fairly "challenging" films this weekend.

The Road - went into this with some trepidation because I really hated John Hillcoat's previous film, The Proposition.  But it was very good, very powerful.... very bleak.  Not sure I want to see it again.

The Fall - I'd never heard of this, until I saw a trailer on another DVD.  Visually amazing, shot in some breathtaking locations.... but the story is paper-thin.  I really don't know what to make of it.

Yep, my thoughts exactly. I felt empty after watching it. I'm not sure what Viggo Mortensen was thinking of when he let Charlize just walk away. He should at least have asked for a godye sh@g.

The acting, from the boy in particular, was very good. I'm not sure which part I found most depressing - the most disturbing part was when he opened the cellar in the big house.

I think I hate being indecisive.
