i liked it too. but did anyone happen to watch the preview for it on sky anytime - the bit where they start playing a sort clip of the film?   the buggers decided to pick a clip that gave away the whole plot.  not that its hard to figure out, but still - not on!

ugh, i hate when that happens. Sky is particularly bad at that. especially in the program guide, you click on a film to see what it's about and you either (a) get a terrible description in broken english which leaves you none the wiser, (b) get a description for the wrong film or (c) learn the entire plot.

e.g.: "A woman moves to a new sleepy town and is befriended by a friendly man. But is he more than he seems?"

Well, I really have no idea, I expect not.

And that's awesome about marty mcfly.

I watched adventures in babysitting last night, just about my level. Many lulz were had.

Speaking of films, today is the day that Marty McFly travelled to in a tweaked DeLorian...

Watched "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo", largely due to a buddy's recent return from Sweden. A rough watch in places, but pretty decent all round. Sequels will be watched soon.

I just watched a Spanish thriller called Fermat's Room.  Entertaining and pretty ingenious, but I'm not sure if it would stand up to repeat viewings.

Thank God, I thought I was losing my touch on BTTF knowledge when a guy at work told me that. I was sure that it wasn't future day!

Me too - I had to check after convincing myself (against my judgement) that it was true.
I think I hate being indecisive.

With Predators hitting the cinema, I've been watching Predator and Predator 2 on Blu-ray.

Also watched The Relic last night, and the TV print looked so awful I've just ordered that on Blu-ray too.

The Guitar: I have to admit that I only rented this title because there is a guitar involved  and was pleasantly surprised to find it was a really good film. It's low-budget indie about a woman who radically changes her life after a series of bad news. Trivia: the film was directed by Amy Redford who is Robert Redfords daughter.

2012: I'm going to lose any credibility (if I ever had any) by admitting that I enjoyed watching this   It's basically a sequel to The Day After Tomorrow with some When Worlds Collide thrown in. It's totally brainless but there is plenty of big action set pieces and cheesy humour.

Not the Messiah: Eric Idle's comic oratorio (I had to look up ) pastiche of Handel's Messiah based on The Life of Brian (IMO the funniest film ever made). I'm a big Python fan so I was always going to like this but it does start quite slow and the humour is often low key. However I though the music was great with 'We Love Sheep' getting big laughs from me. If you dislike Opera or The Python... avoid.
