May I ask what nationality you are Murraymurray? It does impact on your review :P

Im from NZ, i enjoy the odd gay joke, but an hour and a half of the one joke is a bit much. there was some pretty funny bits in it, but overall i didnt think it was great.

Hmmm, not familiar with NZ's humour so I can't comment. Sacha's kind of humour doesn't seem to travel to well anyway.

They share the same sense of humour as us............... they have to, cause they ain't got one.

Ha ha, just joking.  I've been trying to get the missus to agree to moving to NZ for a year or so now.  When she finally agrees I'll come over and get you a pint (and your mum)  :D

The Fastest Indian was on telly the other day, that's a real good film.  Got Anthony Hopkins in.

Watched The Mist the other day.  Pretty good, and it made me dig out the book to re-read it.  I'd like to see the B&W version.

Just got back from seeing Public Enemies. Thought it was pretty good, but very long. Some scenes probably could've been cut/shortened. I wouldnt have minded if the seats at Odeon cinemas were remotely comfy though, I had to shift around so many times!

Looks like there are quite a few good looking films coming out, the trailers all seemed pretty good. New Martin Scorsese called Shutter Island looks interesting.

I wanted to go and see that with Kez the other day, but when she saw how long it was we ended up watching "The Hangover" which made me want to die.

haha The Hangover looks awful

I just went to see Bruno and compared to Borat its pretty shite. It all seemed too forced and staged. Some pretty funny bits though but a lot of it I found tedious and annoying.

You guys suck, the Hangover is the funniest film I've been to all year. No real 'jokes' but I laughed all the way through.

I dunno I just hate stupid american comedies like that. May be worth a download to watch with friends and beer though I suppose.

It's literally just shiteee, and I mean that in the purest sense. It's a big steaming pile of stinking excrement, and going to watch is just like shoving your face into that pile and inhaling relentlessly.
Honestly American comedy has to just STOP. In fact American 'culture' in general just has to just STOP; almost everything (there's always exceptions!) coming out of that country is just cheap, glossy, plastic, watered down, brain-dead shiteee, and I wouldn't mind if I could escape it!

EDIT: Ohhh, I feel better now :)
