I know they are not movies, but my girlfriend bought me the first 3 seasons of Miami Ink and the first season of L.A Ink because they were on offer at the local DVD store. I have been enjoying watching these recently and it has even inspired me to get some more tattoo work done myself.

Went to see Up last night.. bit disappointing. Not a very good storyline but it did look great and was pretty fun.

Not a very good storyline

Nonsense, it's a kids movie not a literary classic  8)

I loathe these programmes, they're full of actually relatively mediocre artists whom people now think are the very limit of what's possible to do with tattoos and they imply this nonsense idea that you HAVE to have some passionate back story to get tattooed in the first place.

Plus some of the hygiene issues ignored are appalling and they've created a spate of scratchers the world over who now think the life of a tattooer is that of a rock star.

I understand what you're saying, it's not a programme to be taken too seriously I just enjoy watching them for a bit of fun. The tattooist I go to can probably do just as good or if not better than some of the ones I've seen them do so far.

I do agree that you don't need to have a deep meaning or story to be tattooed, thats just nonsense.

I find it funny when they have a hard time on the design. like the one where the guy wanted a skull with two prosthetic legs because they got blown off in iraq. (y) great tattoo mate

I watched that a while ago. I do like Kate Hudson. Owen Wilson deserves a good kicking though for playing the same character yet again. That man has soooo much range.
I think I hate being indecisive.

I like Hudson, I like Wilson (at least in Wes Anderson films), but I've never felt the urge to watch You, Me and Dupree

If I ever do feel like watching it, I know it's easily available on ITV2 at all times (unless it's one of the days they're showing Along Came Polly, Die Hard 2 or The Scorpion King)

Anyway, it's the London Film Festival at the moment so I'm seeing lots of "world cinema" - all good so far.  :)
