I've got In Bruges on my Sky+ box. Jane doesn't fancy it so it will no doubt be a late night film for me at some point soon.
I think I hate being indecisive.

V/H/S - awful, to be honest. I liked the idea of the found-footage "mini stories" within the main plot thing, but it was just poor.

I thought a couple of the individual stories were really good, but overall it was a bit meh.

My brother told me today there's a sequel on the way - with a segment by Gareth Evans, director of The Raid.

I liked the first one (with the weird girl in the bar), and the one with the girl speaking to her boyfriend over the webcam. The camping one was pretty cringeworthy though I thought!

Just seen the much hyped Kill List. Utter garbage. Pointless and stupid. If this is the best of British Film making we may as well give up. In Bruges is very good though as is The Guard.

Ok, here goes:

Argo - great film. Exciting and interesting, can highly recommend it.
Skyfall - best bond film in quite some time IMHO. A little darker with more human elements, Craig is a good Bond.
Wreck it Ralph - Awful, very childish. I'm a big fan a Pixar and their witty humor. They manage to blend humor for both adult and kids really well. But this one was just horrible.
Life of Pi - beautifully shot, and better than I expected. Can recommend it
Ted - american pubertal and juvenile humor, just awful. First movie in a while I turned off.

I started watching Breaking Bad on Thursday night. First season finished already. Compulsive viewing, highly recommended.

The Reef - boring, predictable "based on a true story" Australian film about a group of stranded seafarers being menaced by a shark.

If you've seen Open Water and/or Adrift you've already seen this.  Avoid.

The Bourne Legacy

Even though I liked the other three Bourne films, I was expecting the worst for some reason.... :?  As with all these espionage things, I didn't understand what the hell anyone was talking about for the first hour, but it was still easy enough to follow the gist of what was going on.  After all the build-up, the ending was a bit weak, but overall I really enjoyed it (and never fell asleep).  I don't mind if they do carry on making sequels!

I had the same thoughts as you on that one Philly. I do prefer the first three films though.

I'm just setting out on watching some documentaries that I've been meaning to watch for ages:

The King of Kong : A fistful of Quarters
Grizzly Man
Searching for Sugar Man

Will report back when I have finished!
