NGD! Finally..

Well after a long troublesome eBay transaction my new guitar finally arrived yesterday and it's as awesome as I expected it to be. Sounds and plays great, is kinda beat up which I was expecting anyway, don't really like new guitars as I tend to baby them instead of playing them. Looks good with the rest of the collection..

It's the CAR '62 reissue Esquire. MIJ 1985... Also in the pic L-R.. MIJ '54 reissue Esquire from '86.. My hot-rod partscaster Esquire.. and laying down is my heavily modded Squier Standard Tele (BKP Yardbirds in that one)

How do you find the reverse control plates?  Does the switch get in the way of the tone control, or do you not use it much (since they're mostly Esquires)?

Yeah I don't really use the tone controls on the fly, I usually find where I like it and leave it there and then switch between the bypass and middle positions for rhythm lead sounds. Unless I want that voodoo chile switch flicking wah wah kinda sound when I'll just use the tone control for that and then put it back up full.

I like the volue knob closer and the switch is easy enough to use no matter where it is so they work pretty good but I can live with the either way.
