I have some macasser ebony that would be great for 1 piece fender style necks.. its generally more stable than the pure black stuff

i would do it just with an oil finish, tbh it would polish up just fine without anything but the oil helps to keep it looking good

That is some nice looking wood man. Thankfully I'm GASsing for too many other expensive things at the moment to start daydreaming about how nice it would look on a thinline.

Good, because to waste that beautiful wood on a telecaster would be a crime beyond all crimes!

A Tele with an F hole a non-Tele does not make.

Nevermind, it was a bit of tongue and cheek.  I understand that i might be a difficult translation; i suppose that double negative that i used would be confusing for most English speakers.  If i explain it i am afraid i will ruin the effect.

Thats a lovely guitar Roo! Great work too Wez. I know that feeling of wonder when you get home the guitar of your dreams! I'd love a go on a Baritone, I bet they sound heavy as F!!

O god no, this is ROO'S THREAD, and Roo's thread only - i mean, it was for him.  That would just be downright disrespectful Fernando.  Let him have his glory in peace
