Well, I nearly didnt, but I dabbled with some cleans for a couple of minutes. Rounder, fatter, chimier, fuller. I like. Is good.
Nothing in between yet though.

The cleans were the biggest surprise for me. They were lovely, zingy, but fat. Really nice sparkle on them. Of course, the 5150-II doesn't really put out 'clean' tones, but at low volumes at least I could get some rather nice 'metal cleans' out of it, and the G12Ks sounded better to my ears than the EVM12L blacks for the cleans. Quite different, and complementary, though, both for clean and distorted tones.
