i am talking about the little fat cooking ones rather than thin deli slices, that woudlnt work at all
there is no better smell than onions garlic and some cubes of chorizo gently frying away and just that over pasta is a great snack. I also like bacon in a spag bol, but not at the same time. smoked bacon gives you pork fat and a smokey taste. Chorizo give you pork fat, a smokey taste and just a little extra spice and colour
edit: i should also point out that my spag bols are not mince heavy, the main ingredient is tomatoes. i hate it when its just mince and onions with some tomato juice or a jar of sauce stirred in :?
