Greek Salad

you wouldn't use the meat knife on crusty bread but, equally, the serrated knife and straight edge knife aren't going to go through raw meat as quickly

tonight I'll be having a northern treat - saveloy with pease pudding and stuffing plus tomato sauce, nam nam!!!  :D

when the brother in law came up here a couple of months back I made this for tea and his face was a treat.  credit where its due though, he gave it a go and said it was nice (might have been being nice, ha ha).

You don't have idea how much I regret being in England and not eating a English Breakfast :(

The only thing better than a breakfast fry-up is the all day breakfast..... that way you can have one for lunch and dinner too.
Advice worth what you just paid for it.

Oh dear  :?

When I read The only thing better than a breakfast fry-up is the all day breakfast.....
I was thinking "yeah.... now that's what I'm talking about... :P"

And then I realised it didn't actually mean "eating bacon and eggs, and all the trimmings, er, all day..."

I actually felt disappointed... :(

I think I might need some help...

pork chop the size of my face!! - i love ocado for that, they always have great meat - almost local butcher beating, but not quite.  certainly the best i have had from  major supermarket

it was done j'oliver style (hate to admit it but it works).  fry the chop for colour and chuck it in a roasting pan with loads of fresh toms, pepper, onions, garlic, balsamic and a few herbs. roast on  high heat till the veg makes a good mush

I'm having a bash at cooking Chicken with Chilli and Salt  :D

Absolutely brilliant in my local chineese, so going to have a crack at cooking it here too.  Going to be a bit of an experiment.  Was going to cook a pizza, but can't be arsed kneeding the dough.

Went to Los Iguanas in Reading with the family last night and had a bowl of chilli with rice. Very nice.
I think I hate being indecisive.

And it worked, bit of work to do on it yet, but it's a bloody good place to start from.  Think I'm going to add an egg next time to try and get more batter to stick on the chicken (also need to use finer salt).  Dead easy too.
