Yeah.

Black and functional.

I'd just like the pickguard to be the main point of contrast.

Pearl or plain white scratchplate

Position
1 - Volume
2 - Volume + Tone .22uf cap
3 - Bass .10uf cap "c--ked wah" tone

Can't wait to try that.  :P

That is well cheap for a guitar but i doubt it would be any worse than the Richwood LP I bought on EBay a few years back while totally stoned. It was dreadful but obviously ok now after all the upgrades. I embarrassed to say it cost me over 200 quid!! I'm sure after a bit of work at Feline it will be really nice.

Well it's here...

I took it out an inspected it carefully and checked a few basics..

  • Nut cut very well and string alignment spot on
  • Neck pocket nice and tight
  • Electrics fully working
  • All screws tight

Action... MILES high.

So I capo-ed the first fret and checked the neck relief and it wasn't too bad. So I put a shim in the neck pocket and gave a slight crank of the truss rod and let it settle.

After a while I re-did the intonation and she is pretty much spot on  :D
Tele's are hard work I know but I' like the action as low as I think viable.
All in all it's a total bargain and a good player.

The only change I feel needs to be made are the bridge saddles because the raised height screws catch skin.

So a set of modern milled steel strat saddles will soon be fitted and job done.  :P

Then we Esquire the bugger!!!
