This thing sound so great I can't beleive it, if it as good as they say they have a total hit!
I hope prices wont be that high in france, cause here importators are mostly thieves

I know...but all I've read so far, including news reports on Harmony Central seems suspiciously close to Fender advertising mumbo-jumbo. As my tastes have diversified, I'd love to get that classic Fender clean tone and a higher gain output, more like a Plexi, in one amp.

Any idea how much high gain they mean when they say 'high gain'?

Seeing as its cascading gain I would assume its going to be pretty high...

Already been on to my local dealer about one of these. Trouble is he has to try and get some sense out of the numpties that masquerade as Fender UK....

Sound like real high gain to me (extreme metal territory high gain I mean), at least form the advertising. and the Vintage 30 can be a clue on how much high gain it is :?

Andertons Online have UK prices...

£850 for the heads, £929 for the combo.

Tempted to buy the combo for the reverb and have a head cabinet built so I can have the head, but with the reverb.

Need to audition one of these... really need to audition one.

Bloody hell thats a bit expensive! However its cheaper than a Cornford or some other boutique stuff. I'd be interested in trying the combo out though :twisted:

It's about £150 - £200 cheaper than I was expecting! If it's as good as initial reports say, it's going to be something of a bargain.

Why turn the combo into head? Just put the combo on the cab. There's an extra speaker output jack on the thing.

Maybe they are aiming it at metal players who play with halfstacks? You wouldnt really want a combo on top of a 4x12, well I wouldnt anyway :lol: I'd be scared of it falling off!

In my experience combos when running at high volume tend to exhibit more rattles than heads, valves seem to be a particular issue. Plus I could do without the extra weight and space that a combo would take up.

However, I want the Fender reverb. It's just a thought at the moment. I am down Andertons way in a few weeks time so I will see if they have any in stock.

The other option is to buy the head anyway and purchase a seperate reverb unit. I have a Holy Grail but I find it very noisy.
