but for the OP, i have a C-pig in my jackson pro series king v (maple neck thru, alder wings, drop A tuning) and it rips. DEEP low end, but not muddy..chainsaw midrange grind, really aggressive, tame high end, nice bite to it. I love this pickup, but the only thing that i don't like about it that was hard to get used to (as I've also noticed with the painkiller) is that it feels "harder" to play…like you have to physically play/pick harder to get the sound/feels on it. not sure if that makes sense lol.
but it definitely made my king v roar
