More clips then. Same setup as the first clip I posted. The solo is the ending part of Suicide Messiah. The rhythm guitar during the actual solo isn't mine, it's the backing track. Be warned I'm no virtuoso.

For the rockabilly part I added a little slap echo from my Danelectro Wasabi Rock-a-Bey. There's a bit of clipping, the output of the Warpig is a little too much for the Dano. It looked rediculous playing rockabilly on that guitar.

Thanks for all the WARpig clips!  Sounds pretty good to me dirty and clean.

In your opinion, how does the pig handle pinch harmonics and shredding solos/arpeggios.

Something like old soilwork or shadow falls soloing.

Thanks man

Thanks guys! You are too kind.

I'm currently practicing some Rammstein stuff. Need to get the rhythm super tight for that. It's gonna be tuff recording some that without the drums. Do you want a riff with big long epic sounding power chords or something chuggadachuggadachug, WFD?

Pinch harmonics are good on the Warpig, but the Miracle Man is better at it. I'm not a shredder. What you just heard in the clip is just about the limit of my abillity   .

The Miracle Man is the better shredding pickup, I think.

I'll be posting a Crawler clip too, in the near future.

it handles the shredding sound very well, i've used it with Line 6 pods, Roland combos and my JCM 900 and i've got an awesome sound from each one. It really is that great, i should be ordering some more soon to put into a guitar i might be buying within a couple of days.

Sweet man!  I have heard yours.  Sounds good.  Chug leads and harmonics!  The  difference is I don't have a 7 string (or a warpig) and I tune to E.

I think I'll just have to get over it and just pick a pickup already!

Thanks Tol.

The Metallica riff is in stock E tuning. Maybe that'll give you some idea. Thing is I keep tuning it back to drop C because it sounds so damn good that way.

$%&#ing Hails RatRod... how many guitars and tunings do you use on them?
iŽm planning to have 5 guitars, maybe 4, maybe 6(G.A.S) ahahahah..
iŽll use the following tunings on my guitars : one in d, other in C, other in E, other in B, and other in D.
those two guitars tuned in D iwill be one passive, and other actvie... with(possibly) the same Woods, specs etc

iŽll send to you 2 riffs that i want you to record them to me with your Bks.
one is the Main riff i USE to test pickups articulation.
Mayhem is the name of the band, and Freezing Moon the name of the song.
and the other one will be a mix of Venom-Blackmetal and a riff of mine.

Steve.
I'm working on Reise, Reise wich is not too hard and Keine Lust. The last one is a bit tuff in the chorus, trying to get the rhythm in sync with that double picking. I also screwed around with Los, tuned an accoustic down to drop C   . Never heard an accoustic sound that angry and that drummer is a cyborg. Wish I had some backing tracks of the stuff.

WFD.
I currently have 4 guitars: the Mockingbird with the Warpig, the Yamaha SG with the Crawlers, Reverend Wolfman and a hot rodded Fender Telecaster. I use standard tuning most of the time, except for the Mockingbird. Sometimes Drop D or BADGBE for the other guitars (that's just retuning one string).

I'll see what I can do with your clips
