LOL.

Well, to be honest, I'm not from across the pond... I just work with alot of
"you guys".  :)  I'm originally from Ohio... transplanted to this Godforsaken corner of the world for the last 15 years.  Married me a native Houstonian and it'll be 7 years of bliss *cough cough* next month.  :)

And if I see one more friggin bumper sticker that says "I wasn't born a Texan but I got here as fast as I could" I'll vomit blood.

Cheers,
Jeff

Where at in Ohio? I too am a Buckeye. It's good to see Ohio bretheren worshipping at Tim's altar of god-like tone. ;)

Tiny little village between Akron and Canton called "Canal Fulton".  I went to school at the University of Cincinnati, but I was a Buckeye fan at birth.  I rooted for the Buckeyes against the convicts... errrr.. Bearcats this weekend.  And let's just say that my house was a hostile environment to outsiders last weekend when OSU played UT (my wife's alma mater).  My three year old daughter came into our media room where we were watching the game as asked me, "Daddy... who are the bad guys?"  I had to give her the politically correct answer (and the one that would not cause me a trip to the hospital to remove my wife's foot from my crotch) and tell her that both teams were the good guys, since one team was Mommy's team and the other was Daddy's.  But of course we know who the good guys REALLY were. :)

Where are you at in O-H-I-O?  /cue "Hang On Sloopy" song

Jeff

Ack!  Buckeyes?  OSU?  UT?  Alma mater?  We're being taken over by people talking some incomprehensible language!!

I know "Hang on Sloopy" though, that's Rick Derringer.

SIR, YES, SIR!

Private First Class Tangential Commenter reporting for duty!

FWIW, we are talking about American College Football.  Not the stuff you guys play that we refer to as "soccer".  Try not to hit me too hard for using that word for your sport.

And if you don't recognize the quote that about "droids"... for shame.  You lose 42 million BKP cool points.  :)

OK, just this once.  But please don't use that word ever, ever again.

Which one, "the"?  "American"?  "Antidiestablishmentarianism"?  "Profligate"?   Oh you mean the "S" word.  :)

Ok, I won't say Shazam any longer.

You're Billy Batson?  I don't mind you saying Shazam, but only if you need to hold up a collapsing building or stop a ship sinking or something.
