Monolith, by Kansas. For some reason, I never owned this album, so I purchased it yesterday. It's great!!

That's one of my favourite Kansas albums, probably because it was the first one I bought. I still have it on vinyl, with a gatefold sleeve.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Currently O.K. Ken? by The Chicken Shack. Stan Webb was one one the great Les Paul slingers of the '60s Blues boom but got over shadowed by the likes of Peter Green and Clapton!

Absolutely! They don't get the recognition they deserve in my opinion!

Indeed.  I saw them at the Mildenhall Rock and Blues festival in (I think) 1989.  Webb had a really old Les Paul and Marshall half stack, and it was insanely good.

Rory Gallagher was headlining that gig.  Wish I'd been old enough to appreciate it!

Wow! Must have been a helluva gig. Two of my heroes and I never got to see either. Not too late to see Stan Webb I guess but he only seems to be playing Europe this year.

Great link! I lived in Suffolk in the '80s but I don't remember the Mildenhall festival, I remember most of the bands though :)

Finally got a chance to give my first listen to the new Steven Wilson album "HAND.CANNOT.ERASE.". Felt fitting since I had the time and calm, and am gonna see him live once again on tuesday. So I sat down in the dark with a bottle of 18th Streetīs Hunter and put the blu ray 5.1 mix on. Wow. Just wow. The sound is utterly staggering and the music, while again different than his previous work, feels like it somehow raised the bar again. Clean, complex, emotional, etc. The composition and arrangement are just as high level as the mix and sound quality.

Highly recommended.
BKPs in use: 10th set / RY set / Holy Diver b, Emerald n / Crawler bridge, Slowhand mid MQ neck/ Manhattan n
On the sidelines: Stockholm b / Suppermassive n, Mule n, AM set, IT mid

Lots of UFO albums, Schenker and Tonka period.

Lots of old vinyl, as I'm digitising some of them - Just upgraded my Linn and I'm realising again how great the sound of vinyl is versus CD
So many pickups, so little time
