Bonnie Tyler= Darby Millls gone very wrong 8)

Careful!  I used to live just up the road from Bonnie Tyler.

I know she made some terrible records, but she could have been a terrific rock singer if she'd been in the right band.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Oooh blimey, that's a bit too modern for me.  The nearest I get to funky is Deep Purple Mark III with Glenn Hughes.

I keep meaning to get more Journey, I only have a few (and they're mostly on vinyl).  I like what I've heard of the early stuff with Gregg Rolie singing, and I absolutely love Frontiers, but then they went a bit bland and boring on Raised on Radio.  I've never heard any of the post-Perry stuff.

When I was listening to those Foreigner albums a few weeks ago, I was thinking:  Foreigner had great songs but really no memorable guitar parts to speak of, but Journey had the songs plus all those awesome sing-along guitar solos from Mr Schon.  No contest really.

Philly..I kinda liked escape was 80's trashy music(drums sounded like a drum machine)....but don't think would like it now if it was the first time I listened to it.......but for older Journey try Departure Gregg Rolie and Perry singing...and even proper drums
