hey, if i dont like the dimebucker, im probably gonna put a Ceramic Warpig in there.
but first, i need to get a laney GH50L (in about a year's time!)

I saw Trivium playing with Iron Maiden last night and the lead singer had a razorback. I can't tell you much about the sound as it was pretty mushy in general but he gave it some extreme whammy abuse for 30 mins and it stayed perfectly in tune. Looked cool as f**k as well, although the guitar looked absolutely massive! Maybe he singer was just really small.  :wink:

As a Marshall user I can say "bad generalisation, sir"... some are, some aren't.

But kudos on the awesome guitar, if you take the Dimebucker out then I'll be forced to gut you! :D All you need now is an SD 59 in the neck and it's 100% Dime'd. :)

yeah, the marshall sound on my MG250DFX is mushy anyway. i spose it is expected tho from a cheap line of solid state amps!

im putting the dimebucker in the neck no matter what anyone says, and putting a ceramic warpig in the bridge.
my plan is not to copy dime in every way at all! thats why im putting in the warpig, so i can find my own sound. but don't worry, the dimebucker is staying in! for good.

yep can't wait! after the razorback, i think an EQ pedal is more affordable and easier to get than a laney GH50L and marshall 1936 2x12 cab with V30s. ha i have my future gear planned  :)
hmmm how much could i get for my MG250DFX on eBay?

Well, the MG's are by no means a good gigging amp but they're sound practise amps fo sho.

Brand new, that model goes (cheapest) for £224 (that's from GAK) so it depends on the condition of it but I'd reckon you could get £150 or so... keep in mind though, postage on an amp that size will be pretty hefty. Gotta be at least £30 by courier.

I was suprised how muchy they sounded, I'm sure Maiden were using Marshalls last night and they sounded great.
