here is another one thats nearly finished:

decided to spray it purple but its gone more of a burgundy colour, thats more to do with the colour of the redwood underneath the paint rather than my colourblind sprayer mixing up the dyes again- i aint complainingg though, i think it looks awesome!!

its a thin bodied fanned fret through neck and it will have the mule/manhattan set of pickups i posted on the previous page

What's the mark underneath the bridge pickup cavity?

there are 12 screw holes for the individual bridges and a diagonal hole going to the control cavity for the earth wire. the individual bridges will actually be sitting on a hardwood plate (similar to how doug at black machine does it) to raise them higher so i could get a good LP style neck angle - some people wont like it but i dont like LP's without a neck thats angled back.

so i put the band logo in the fretboard

We knew he like ravelles but would never buy a fernandes!! and this is by no means a copy - the shape is quite different

got the neck blank glued up for the explorer.

Its maple/wenge/walnut/wenge/maple with ziracote fretboard and headplate and a long tenon that will extend into the bridge pickups cavity for a super stable set-neck

also just ordered a kahler trem for it, just trying things i havnt done before
