Nothing like being spammed by My Chemical Romance.

I wonder what he's going to play on that 13 string bass...

i reckon there would be some fun to be had with a wine bottle as a slide - maybe get some strange sound effects anyway, mainly the sound of cracking wood i imagine.

My main issue with it is his attitude.  If i had come across that thing and the guy was fully aware that what he had made was far from perfect  but just wanted to have an experiment as a muck around then that would be fair enough.

I saw this picture the other day:

its the first guitar i made.  It had an uncountable number of flaws and played very badly - but actually managed to sound very nice which convinced me to do more!! I still think it looks pretty cool as well, even though the wooden scratchplate never went flat. I cut it up into pieces last year because i was never gonna play it anymore and niether was anyone else if i had anything to do with it.

Anyway, the point of that nostalgia for me - you will notice that on my first i went for a fairly established design and construction method..  cant re-invent the wheel till you understand how the old one works!!!

^that looks pretty nice for a debut build i must say. i know i couldnt do any better!

and yer, his attitude is what makes it annoying.

it would be really cool if he set out to make it as a guitar you can build from stuff lying around the house. like a bits-and-bobs bass.... but thats definitely not where hes coming from

yer the guy thinks its superb and obviously doesn't want to be told different!

didnt notice his tattoo video before... thanks for the link

i love the idea of tattoos as well, even if i never end up getting one (which hopefully i actually will), i love the artistic side of some designs...

but i have to agree... these are terrible! most of his "black art" stuff looks like it's done in felt tip...

and then the slipknot tattoo.... well.... nothing needs to be said about that really....

i love this guys work: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=68556511

well here is the forearm i had done last year;

and here is the design i drew for the top of the arm

This will cover all the top and go onto chest and back.  The hair will be black and extend down my arm in big circular art nouveau curls

Some of you may think its a bit girly but i reckon anything evil would look bloody daft on my skinny arms...  and the ladies love it  !!!!

 They do look awful, might post a comment :P...

nice tat wez, I think the new design looks good as well. If I ever manage to lose weight and tone myself up (tbh not very likely :() I'd like one, but deciding on a design must be hard!

I just checked this on E-bay and I see him already swamped with bids. It is indeed a splendid "oppertuity" to own such a "unque" "gutar" and we should be grateful that it is "accesable" and as a bonus I see that it has a "beech wod" bridge which might be the tipping point for many. I know some  6 year- olds with superior vocabularies. OK bitchin' over. "Retard Guitars" has a certain ring to it though.

Jesus christ! I just looked at the eBay auction, and was struck by two things.

1. He hasn't even bothered to work out how to tune the bar-steward thing! Pillock.

2. The guy's spelling is awful. "UNQUE" "EXTREAMLY" "ACCESABLE". It make me cringe, and feel slightly sick.
Warpigs.
