Nice Orville by Gibson Philly........if I wasn't skint after just buying my flametop custom I'd be having that!  I need a Gold Top for the collection! :P

No shipping to Europe? What is it with you UK people that you never ship off the island?
You are just not at all in a European mindset you folks, aren't ya?

Islanders!!!!

I'm actually very pro-Europe, but let's not start that debate here!

As far as the eBay thing goes, when I sell small stuff like DVDs I usually ship worldwide, but a guitar is so valuable I'm really afraid that something will go wrong in transit and I'll have to deal with some kind of non-delivery claim.  And you hear of the postal service in some countries being unreliable (e.g. Italy, I believe?).  I'm just scared I'll end up with a lost guitar, no money (and negative feedback to boot...).

I'd make an exception for you, of course, Hunter!
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds

That's true indeed. But that's up to the buyer, isn't it?

Anyways, I wasn't as serious about it as it might have sounded

It's not entirely up to the buyer.  Most expect the seller to do everything for them and take the hit when something goes wrong

:D Have to agree with Philly here, there are to many variables to deal with &  dealing in just the uk is much less agro.

Having said all that, I've just had a message asking if I'll ship to Germany - which is fine, this way I can see where people are, check their feedback and "judge" each case individually.
