I watched 'Colin' yesterday.

It's the zombie film that was made for about £50 if I remember right.

It's ok, nothing special. Although I did like the way they centred it around what 1 Zombie gets upto instead of 1 or a group of survivors like other zombie films usually do :)

I have the house to myself tonight. Any recommendations for a rental from blockbuster?

Watched King of New York last night. I didn't think it was much cop really.

I quite enjoyed 'The Hangover' the other day, not sure if it would float your boat though

(darn quoting mechanism isn't working, again :( )

haha, definitely :D

I tried to watch zach and miri make a porno. Gave up about half an hour in, was utterly horrible. Then tried to watch balls of fury (it was the insurance choice, as i suspected Z+M would be terrible). With hindsight, the insurance choice probably shouldn't have been something which I suspected (with good cause, as it turned out) would be even worse. I think I lasted about 2 minutes with that one. Having "GDR" on the east german table tennis uniforms suggested it wasn't going to be up to much. Why would they have the english abbreviation for their country on their kits? o_O

Watched Coraline last night - Was superb. Great story (neil gaiman), great animation (henry selick) and amazingly creative. Sort of super dark alice in wonderland - animated pan's labyrinth maybe?

I watched that a few days ago. Nice and dark. I did find those button eyes very sinister.

I liked that film a lot!

Have you seen Sakuran, also starring Anna Tsuchiya?  It's a completely different kind of film, but it looks amazing and she's really, really good in it.

I watched two films yesterday (finally had some free time).

The first one was The Tournament. Just another average action movie. I had expected a bit more from it.

Then I watched The Proposition. Great movie! It evolves kinda slow, but in a good way. I guess CSI could have gone through the whole story line in just 20 min. Ha ha ha - CSI sucks!
Mississippi Queens, Stormy Monday/Apaches, Emeralds, Nailbomb (bridge)

nah, i don't think so, but I'll definitely keep an eye out for it. The few japanese films I've seen have been badass :D

i tried to watch some icelandic film on rte last night but gave up as it kinda sucked. You know those really pretentious annoying films, but which, when you actually analyse them, are more guilty of offensive stereotypes than less lofty fare? One of those. :( Main character was really annoying.
