Ibanez RGT42DXFM. I think the T stands for neck thru, the DX for deluxe, and the FM for Flamed Maple.

I have an RG470F/TBL (pretty old model, but I don't know its history because I bought it from a friend). It's absolutely superb!

I can recommend the Miracle Man bridge pickup to replace that INF2, although I think I made the wrong decision: I think I probably wanted the ceramic Warpig to go in there. Either way, it still sounds AWESOME with BKPs in ;)

I installed one myself on my Strat, the basics are the same and trust me it's easy.

I'm not a guitar tinkerer - I don't solder my own pickups or anything - but trust me it is SO easy as long as you follow the video instructions which couldn't be any clearer if they tried.

Honestly man, it's a brilliant product that's as simple to install as it is practical to use.

so, Mr Ed, can the tremel-no handle high string + spring tension or does it not matter? and how many springs can you use with it (i.e. does it get in the way)?

Well, it works with almost all trems on the block... some guitar manufacturers that have come up with their own trems use a block which is too big (for example) and I think some Fenders have a bevelled trem block so the claw can't attach to it.

They replay really quickly and the guy who developed it/runs the company is absolutely brilliant, he really is a top bloke. As far as I know though it shouldn't be a problem in the slightest and it should be able to deal with as many springs as your Trem has. On the installation video on the site, he's installing it to a locking trem so, y'know, it must work.

Wore out the hexagon in one of the saddles on my nut (turned it the wrong way *sigh*) - Anyone recommend a place where I can get a new one? (can't get the saddle off, so will need to buy a whole new nut). It's one of the ones screwed in from under the headstock and I'd rather not pay the £25 they ask for the OFR ones...

PS: 43mm...

I had the same same problem with my Ibanez JS100, but it was one of the screws in the bridge, luckily i managed to get it out. Ibanez are sh!t at replacing parts, i was wayting for about a year with misfit screw that was too long and had a flat-head screwdriver end rather that allen key. I ended up selling without the proper screw.

anyway, i'm not sure if it would turn out cheaper or not, but you could get it drilled out, or do it your self if you trust yourself enough.
