That is beautiful! Gotta love those mounting rings.

Cheers! The zebrano parts, including a truss rod cover, were made by THG Knobs.

what kind of wood is that?

I don't know, must be exotic. The grain pattern is slightly similar to mahogany. The luthier really liked it and had used this kind of wood for a few of his other guitars so I agreed to use it for making the top.

I thought I'd repost this here as it kinda makes more sense.. Apologies if you've seen it all before.

A collection of nice musical things that make me very happy...

A pile of most of the stuff I need for a good afternoon....

Fender Lite Ash Strat - Vintage White - Stopped Trem - Strung with 10 to 46 Feline (picato) strings.

Bare knuckle Custom Overwound Sinner Bridge Pickup - 21.2 K - This f**ker screams with hot tone!

Dunlop 6000 refret by Feline.

Birdseye Maple / Abalone dots.

Ibanez Japan RG570 - Early 90s - Jewel Blue - Original Edge Tremolo - Strung 9 to 46.

Bare Knuckle Warpig Bridge / Trilogy Middle / Dimarzio FRED Neck.

Steve Vai Signature - Rubbed off by mistake during a fret dress!! It pays to smoke and stain the wood so you get left with a "ghost image" as seen here...

Joe Satriani Signature...

Neck Thru Peavey V-Type (Vandenberg) Ltd - Rewired with CTS pots and fret dressed by Feline Guitars - Strung 10 to 46

Bare Knuckle Miracle Man Bridge / Dimarzio FRED Neck.

Epi Les Paul Custom - Kent Armstrong JB bridge pickup - Neck pickup is disconnected - Rewired throughout and fitted with CTS pots by Feline Guitars

Fender Japan Precision Bass - Candy Apple Red - Badass Bridge - Active Pickups.

it's quality not quantity that counts. i'm actually quite tempted to sell all my gear recently except for a LP and my JCM800, and with the money buy mules for the LP and buy a nice tele and get a boss set for it
LOVING the Mules!

havent chose a LP for definate - i love them both! i'd like to have one with crawlers and one with mules...
At the moment there's a greco LP, and edwards LP, an Ibanez S Prestige, some ibanez bass guitar with an ashdown amp, a fender strat, matamp minimat, peavey classic 50/50 poweramp, an analogman sd1/808, and a Fulltone fat boost knocking about, and most of it really isn't up to much. i love all of it (apart from the matamp), but a lot of it's not getting much use and i REALLY want a tele and some more BKPs, lol...

...but then again i chang my mind about what i want all the time, and i know i'd regret getting rid of things, so i'll let it lie. Usually if crave something for more than a year i know it's the right thing to do.
LOVING the Mules!

No BKP's in my guitars yet, so I feel almost guilty posting here. But curb your anger, friends, as my Nailbomb bridge and MQ neck will be arriving in a matter of days, and they will be going in to the Epi Dot (which shall also be receiving a Switchcraft switch + jack, CTS pots and Gibson guitar wire).

But I'll post anyways, for poops and giggles  ;)
BKP guitars:
Epiphone Dot Studio (NB bridge, MQ neck)
Gibson LP Studio (MM bridge, CS neck)

Lace Sensors in Strats is heavenly to me. Did you go for the holy trinity? Red, Silver and Blue?
