^So did I rob... so did I.....

Mmmm nice Burny!!!

That would be an awesome twin-set; 80s Burny LP and 80s Burny SG....  :o

Indeed, 'tis a little more expensive as well though.

And TwinF, I think you were dead right about the necks being bigger! I found a guy on ebay selling a Burny 61-style SG who listed the neck measurements, and judging from my trusty ruler here with my LP, they're the exact same neck!!! That's good in that I know it would be okay for me, but bad in as much as I want something different.

How nice does this look- just sold though unfortunately:

Sambo how about the Epiphone G400 Vintage? Satin finish and bound fretboard unlike the other Epi SGs. £185 delivered from soundslive.co.uk I just ordered one. My Mules will be going into this guitar.

Or the G400 Deluxe. A nice combination of LP looks and SG shape.

Wow the G400 vintage looks gorgeous there.

But alas, I may have already secured a sneaky bargain on another axe.

I'm keeping shtum for now, but if all goes well I'll have new SG pretty soon.
:D :D :D

If not, that Epi is up there on the list. I adore satin finishes and it looks very very tasty. Let me know what it's like anyway, as I might even get one in the future if it's a good-un.

Sure, I'll let you know what I think of it when it arrives. The only thing to be careful of with them is to get the 'Vintage' one and not the 'Faded' one as the Faded ones are made in China (as opposed to Korea) and are lower in quality apparently.

Exxxcellent.

I'll make a mental note of the Vintage/Faded thing, cheers.

lol of course! How did I forget to mention that. Yeah that was the main reason why I looked into the faded/vintage issue in the first place. I think in the US they have mainly switched to faded ones but in Europe a lot of the places still have the vintage ones.
