I hope we all can agree on that Blair Witch Project was utterly rubbish!

No, I liked it!  I think by the time most people saw it they already knew too much about it and that spoiled it, but if you forget/ignore all the hype it has a real creepy atmosphere.

But maybe we can all agree that Blair Witch 2: Book of Shadows was utterly rubbish?  The only good thing to be said about it is that they tried hard to do something different - but it didn't work at all.

i liked BWP too! but i first saw it on videotape and had no expectation at all, so...

anyway some day ago i watched "Ip Man". if you want to see ONE kung fu movie in your life it should be that. maybe.

Watched Moon a couple of days ago and thought it was great. Even though it's not an FX movie, most of the effects are practicals with a little CG enhancement which work really well with the films indie/retro feel. Good script and top quality acting, I would recommend it to anyone with science fiction leanings.

Indeed. Apart from makeing a mediocre comedy. It has a few moments, but that's all.

It warms my heart that we can agree on this one, Philly. I seem to remember that the Big Lebowski was mentioned a couple of pages back and that you like that too. One more where we agree :D
