i've read the books. the 2nd and 3rd one are even better.

i think i'll wait till it comes out on sky (or even dvd), knowing what happens, i want the option to be able to turn it off if i can't take it. EDIT: yeah, i'd definitely want to see the one in swedish with subs. dubbing is just generally total cr@p.

i saw the first two movies in swedish (with english subs, my swedish is a bit rusty... :)) and liked them, but much less than i expected having read the books...
worth watching though.
Mule, MQ, Stockholm, CS, RY, MM, PK, ANB, CNB, AWP, CWP, PiG90...

too many? ;)

re-watched Below some year after... of course i found it less scaring than the first time (i know it's not THAT scaring, but it gave me some creep...) but still an excellent movie. i love submarine films, and the horror twist gives it a unique pace.

Submarine? Horror? Christ I'd be behind the sofa.

Does anyone still rent movies? Like Lovefilm or like Blockbuster? Is renting from online any good?

I rent from both Blockbuster and Lovefilm and haven't  had any problems. I didn't need the volume so stopped the Blockbuster subscription as I found they were slower at supplying new releases, YMMV

Watched Dorian Gray last night, pure garbage - no script, no acting (Colin Firth was OK), no story, no ideas, no direction. How does cr*p like this even get into production?

Oh cool.  I'm going to see it this afternoon.  Did you get a trailer for Scott Pilgrim before it?

The original b+w film 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' was quite a good adaption. I've not seen the new one, but almost everyone who I know who has seen it said it was a bit of a stinker.

I'm about half way through 2012

Does that I thought I'd come check the BK boards say anything about what I think of the film?

I'm surprised you are still awake!

The standard of films this year is appalling, I hope it picks up as the year goes on.

So the 'Best Disaster Movie' quite literally.

Saw Kick-Ass this afternoon and liked it.  I think that the film was as good as it could be and all the main performances were very good.  It's a very slick film with some great lines in it.  How it managed to get rated a 15 though is beyond me :?.

Well, it took about 5 hours to watch 2012 in the end.

Best I can say is those ships were pretty cool.
